2004 The year in photos

The year began with snowfall and ended with divisive election that riled both sides of the student body politic. Student government fell apart early in 2004 and a new administration managed to rally hundreds of students behind a boycott of student debit ID cards. Gay marriage was legal, then not legal, then really, really unconstitutional. And that was just the year in politics. Here are some of the moments caught by Vanguard photographers during the tumultuous year that was. Some of them are awe-inspiring, some are infuriating, and a few are just really funny.
