CPSO issues security threat

The Campus Public Safety Office put out a timely warning about a security threat at 4:52 p.m. The message read as follows:

Timely Warning

This is to advise you that the Campus Public Safety Office are investigating threats of violence against the PSU community made by Asish Nand SHARMA,.

Mr. SHARMA currently has a warrant for his arrest and faces additional charges related to an assault occurring on campus. It has also been reported that he was made threats to shoot the assault victim and law enforcement. CPSO is investigating. Given the circumstances federal law requires that we issue this notification.

Accordingly, we are providing the following description and photograph of Mr. SHARMA : He is 5’8” 190 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen driving a Champagne Honda Accord Oregon license plate NNK 552.

If you see Mr. SHARMA on campus, or if you have any significant concerns about your immediate personal safety, please notify law enforcement officials by calling 911.

University Administration and Campus Public Safety are continuing to monitor the situation and do not believe that the normal operations of the University should be interrupted at this time.
