Award-winning film director David Lynch, known for “Mulholland Drive,” “Blue Velvet,” “Twin Peaks” and an endless list of other notable films, will be at PSU on Saturday, but not in person.
A live webcast will be shown from the University of California, Irvine at 7:30 p.m. But despite the fact that you’ll only get to see him on video, it’s an event worth going to because it’s free, and Lynch is a director with a history, one that leads to informative comments.
Sponsored by The David Lynch Foundation and the PSU Film Community, he’ll be talking about “Consciousness, Creativity and the Brain.” It’s a topic that explores, in-depth, the elements film brings to the mind. Exploring the relationship between film and viewer is subject matter every filmgoer can identify with. Take a look.
At Hoffman Hall Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
