Goat milk makes some pretty killer cheese. Rich and creamy feta crumbles are the perfect partner for crisp red and green apples. With such a lovely medley of flavors, this appetizer is big in flavor and low on calories! Share these crunchy treats with your pals at a party or make them as a fancy appetizer to impress your date.

Switch up the flavors in this dish by subbing bleu cheese for goat cheese. Make this delicious recipe an entrée all its own by adding a cup of cooked chicken strips and tossing the ingredients into a fresh salad. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil and season with a dash of salt and pepper.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large pan, sauté chopped apples and onions in butter for 3–5 minutes until tender. Brush baguette with olive oil and place on baking sheet in oven for 5 minutes until lightly golden.

Ingredients
1 green apple, cored and finely chopped
1 red apple, cored and finely chopped
1 yellow onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 skinny baguette, thinly sliced
6 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 cup feta cheese
1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped
1 tsp fresh oregano, minced
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup arugula, chopped

Combine apples, onions, feta, walnuts, oregano, pepper and salt in a bowl and mix well. Spoon mixture onto crisped bread slices and top with a sprinkle of chopped arugula. Serve immediately and enjoy!
