Some student leaders at Portland State are concerned that the decision declaring that OSPIRG is not a student group could affect other student groups, and was made without consulting any students.

A letter to Wes Anderson
Dear Mr. Anderson, I just want to make it clear right away-I am a fan. You’re back again with The Darjeeling Limited–a good film, I might add. Notice I said good. I’m sure it’s not a word you are used to hearing. An incandescent secret
On an overcast Tuesday evening, Michael Creger maneuvers around four students clad in shiny silver suits that resemble costumes from a low-budget science fiction movie.
Louder! Faster! Heavier!
Most people don’t think of Portland as a heavy metal town, but it has all the hallmarks of one. There are plenty of locals being loud and destructive, and every week there is always a strong contingent of touring bands coming through.

Angel and the Love Mongers have just a hint of the talent that made The Smiths and The Cure so great. For the most part, that tinge of talent should be understood as the same kind of misinterpreted artistry that has made modern bands like The Killers popular and famous.
