Vikings head to NCAA Regional
This Thursday, six members of the Portland State track team will be heading down to familiar territory at Hayward Field in Eugene to compete in the NCAA West Regional meet.

Well, it’s that time of year again—graduation is drawing near and it’s time to say goodbye. There are seven athletes from the Portland State track team who have exhausted their eligibility, five of whom will be walking during spring graduation.
A smashing weekend for the Vikings
New school records, conference records, personal records—the list goes on about the success the men and women’s track team had at this past weekend’s Big Sky Outdoor Championship meet.
Vikings push toward finish
This past Wednesday marked the official kickoff for the 2011 Big Sky Outdoor Championship in Sacramento, Calif. The first two days of the meet are multi-events, such as the heptathlon for women and the decathlon for men.

This previous weekend the men and women’s track and field Vikings headed down to Eugene and Hayward Field to compete in the Oregon Twilight. This was the last regular meet of the 2011 outdoor season.
One more hurdle to jump
This weekend the men and women’s track and field team will head back down to Duck town and compete at the Oregon Twilight in Eugene.
Time is running out
This past weekend the Portland State Vikings traveled to Forest Grove to compete in the Pacific Twilight. With only one more meet left in the regular season, the Pacific Twilight was a chance for the athletes to compete in their secondary events, and to take a break from their main focus.
