At 2:30 a.m. Sept. 30 officers responded to a complaint in university housing that subjects were attempting to take beer from a victim and then physically beat him. The incident was referred to internal handling.
The same night about 2:15 a.m. officers were brought to university housing on complaints of noise and minors drinking. The event was referred to internal handling.

A locked office in Smith Memorial Student Union yielded a wallet containing $25 to a thief. The incident occurred about 10:15 a.m. Sept. 25. The empty wallet was later recovered along with some other items that had been removed.
An unsecured office in the same building gave up an unattended wallet to a thief about 9 a.m. Sept. 27. The loss was $50. Forced entry to a room in the same building resulted in a loss of items worth $450. The incident occurred about 9 p.m. Sept. 24.
Forced entry into one Neuberger Hall locked office after 5 p.m. Sept. 24 resulted in no monetary loss to the burglar, who rummaged the desks in the office. However, another office breakin at the same time resulted in a loss of valuables worth $450.
A loss of $2,570 in stolen property was reported when a vehicle was broken into in Parking 3 about 12:30 p.m. Sept. 27. Another break-in the same day resulted in a loss of $150.
A motorcycle parking permit worth $48 was removed from a motorcycle parked in Parking 1 about 3 p.m. Sept. 28.
A secured bicycle valued at $560 was stolen from a bike rack near SMSU about 8:15 a.m. Sept. 30.
Office keys were removed from a desk drawer in the Education-Business Administration Building about 4 p.m. Sept. 30 and valuables worth $622 were missing.
An unattended bag left behind in a classroom in Cramer Hall went missing when the owner went back to look for it. The incident occurred at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 30. There was no estimate of loss.
Forced entry to a vehicle parked near a university housing facility resulted in a loss estimated at $1300 after 5 p.m. Sept. 20.

A person who had been evicted from campus premises was approached and the subject’s building keys were retrieved at 3:30 a.m. Oct. 2.
Marshall Clayton, 29, was transported to the detention center at about 9 p.m. Sept. 28 on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
An unspecified county warrant resulted in the arrest of Bun Bunturo, 35, at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 1 in Science 1. He was lodged at the detention center.
