March 1 11:54 a.m.–Theft from motor vehicle Parking Structure 3 A wallet containing money, a driver’s license and credits cards was stolen from a vehicle. The car stereo and compact discs were also stolen. There are no suspects. 2:58 p.m.–Unauthorized entry to motor vehicle Parking Structure 3 An unknown suspect broke into a car, bending back the window, but nothing was missing after investigation.

Thief(s) punched out the driver’s side lock of a car and stole its stereo. There are no suspects.

A locked bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in a thoroughfare on campus. 4:23 p.m.–TheftUnknown

A wallet was reported missing after its owner lost it somewhere on campus. Enough time passed that it was finally reported as stolen.

5:16 p.m.–Theft from motor vehicleParking Structure 3

A car was broken into after the driver’s side lock was punched. The unknown suspect(s) stole a box of cassette tapes and video games.

March 2

5:01 p.m.–Parking boot theftParking Structure 2

A parking boot was stolen from Parking Structure 2. There are no suspects.

March 3

2:13 a.m.–Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of PropertySouthwest 11th and Market block

An unknown suspect rammed into a traffic barricade, damaging it. Campus Public Safety is working with the Portland Police to determine whether the incident was an accident or malicious.

4:50 p.m.–Warrant arrest

Smith Memorial Student Union

A Campus Public Safety officer mistook a man, Micha Brown, for another who had a trespass warning on record. When Brown was questioned he became evasive and the officer ran a search for his name, coming up with three misdemeanors warrants out for his arrest. Brown, who is not associated with PSU, was taken into custody.

March 5

11:54 a.m.–TheftCramer Hall

A purse was left unattended for a short amount of time, and when the owner returned, the purse was missing. There are no suspects.

8:57 p.m.–Hit and runOndine Parking

An unknown suspect ran their car into another, damaging it in a student residence hall parking lot.
