An unknown suspect pulled a fire alarm early in the morning. After investigation it was determined that there was no fire.

2:30 p.m. — Theft of a water pipe clampFourth Avenue Building — 1900 S.W. Fourth

An investigation is currently underway to determine who removed a water pipe clamp from the Fourth Avenue Building’s basement parking garage. Public Safety currently has a suspect and no names have been released.

Feb. 9

2:42 a.m. — False alarmBroadway Housing — 625 S.W. Jackson

For the second night in a row, a fire alarm was pulled in the Broadway building. Like the night before, Campus Public Safety found that the alarm was false.

Feb. 10

8:35 p.m. — Criminal mischiefStephen E Epler Hall — 1136 S.W. Montgomery

A window was damaged in the residence hall after an unknown suspect threw a large rock at it.

Feb. 12

5:31 a.m. — Distribution of controlled substanceSmith Memorial Student Union — 1825 S.W. Broadway

A non-student was found carrying a syringe filled with an unknown drug. They were arrested and the syringe was sent to a lab to find out the contents of the syringe. Results are not known at this time.

4:12 p.m. — Theft from motor vehicle/criminal mischiefParking Structure 1 –1872 S.W. Broadway

A car was damaged and a laptop, textbooks, a bag, a cell phone and makeup were stolen from a parked car on the first floor of the structure. There are no suspects at this time.

4:48 p.m. — Theft from motor vehicle Parking Structure 3 — 1631 S.W. 12th

A car stereo was stolen from a parked vehicle on the third floor of the structure.

Feb. 13

9:48 a.m. — Theft from buildingSchool of Business Administration — 631 S.W. Harrison

A computer monitor was stolen from the School of Business Administration and there are no suspects.
