Someone stole a doorbell off a wall of a university housing facility on Feb. 22. The incident apparently occurred about 2 p.m. The value was $18.84.

Graffiti was reported on the exterior of a student residential facility at 3:30 a.m. Feb. 17.

An unknown person attempted to break in a door of a university housing facility sometime Feb. 25 in an attempted burglary.

A false fire alarm sounded in a residential housing facility about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 26. Another fire alarm was activated at 2:30 a.m. Feb. 28 in a student residential hall.

Grabbed goods
A vehicle in Parking 1 was broken into about 1:30 p.m. Feb. 21 and items worth $1,740 were taken.

The same day in the same location, about 9 a.m., a vehicle was broken into but nothing was missing.

Also on Feb. 21, Parking 2 was the scene of a vehicle break-in about 7:45 p.m. with items worth $300 removed.

Parking 2 was the scene of a break-in at 7 p.m. Feb. 21, with a loss of $185.

On Feb. 22 about 10 p.m. a vehicle parked on campus was broken into and $250 worth of items stolen.

A loss of $1,570 resulted from a vehicle break-in in Parking 3 about 8:30 a.m. Feb. 22.

An unnamed person attempted to steal a vacuum cleaner from Smith Center about 3 a.m. Feb. 23 but the attempted theft was thwarted.

Smith Center was the scene was a theft of $200 worth of unattended CDs about 8 p.m. Feb. 25.

Various vagaries
Officers were called to Stott Center at 9 p.m. Feb. 17 to quiet a disturbance at a basketball game. The incident was referred to Code of Conduct handling.

Evidence of paintball warfare was found in the tennis courts at Stott Center at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 20.

Someone attempted to break in a door of the Urban Center after 5 p.m. Feb. 24.

A victim reported a hit-and-run accident in the Ondine parking lot about 9 p.m. Feb. 26. The incident is being investigated.

Destination detention
Lewie Grantham, 35, was dispatched to the detention center on outstanding warrants for theft and trespass. The arrest occurred about 4 a.m. Feb. 22.

Complaints by a subject of being threatened with a knife by Christopher Schechter, 20, on campus resulted in arrest and a ride to the detention center for Schechter about 10 p.m. Feb. 22.
