After the fall

Though no arrest has been made, there is an open investigation into an incident at 1:45 a.m., Sept. 28, in a university housing facility. The complainant, who alleges having been thrown down a flight of stairs, was transported to the OHSU hospital.

Tipsy troubles

Campus public safety received multiple complaints of intoxicated subjects in university housing as fall term approached. Such complaints are referred to Student Conduct Code internal handling.

The first complaint, that there were intoxicated subjects in the hallway, occurred at 1:30 a.m., Sept. 28.

The second came soon after midnight on Sept. 29, stating there were numerous intoxicated underage tenants in resident housing.

Off to jail

Jorden P. Barnes, 18, was approached by officers Sept. 28 in a university housing facility and later lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center. He was charged with forgery, possession of a forged instrument and giving misinformation of age.

Lock, no protection

A door was forced open and a room in Smith Memorial Student Union burglarized sometime before 7:15 a.m., Sept. 29. The loss was estimated at $125. There was no listing of what items may have been missing.
