Habitat happenings

Reports of a woman screaming in a university housing facility brought officers to the scene at 8 p.m. February 17. A woman reported her wallet had been stolen. Later, she recovered it. The incident was referred for internal handling.

A resident was found smoking marijuana in university housing at 9 p.m. February 19. The matter was referred to student conduct code.

Assorted activities

A person observed trespassing in the Portland Center for Advanced Technology building at 8:45 a.m. February 18 was given a criminal trespass warning from the campus.

An unknown person tried to force a door open in Cramer Hall about 5 p.m. February 20. There was no loss and the event was listed as criminal mischief.

Report of a disturbance in Cramer Hall at 3:30 p.m. February 23 brought officers to the scene. The matter went to internal handling.

Vehicles violated

Entrance to a vehicle in Parking 3 was forced some time February 18 and property taken without permission. There was no estimate of loss value.

The same day in the same parking structure, items worth $880 were removed after forced entry. The intrusion occurred about 5 p.m.

Also, in Parking 3, on February 20, items worth $275 went missing from a parked vehicle. The forced entry through a broken window occurred about 7:30 a.m.

Pilfered property

Forty tickets worth $810 to two athletic events were stolen from the Extended Studies Building about 10:30 a.m. February 19. The tickets had been left unattended.

An unknown person forced open an office door in Cramer Hall about 5 p.m. February 20. Some items were taken. The loss was not estimated.

An item worth $139 was taken from room 458E in Smith Memorial Student Union about 5 p.m. February 20. The means of access was unknown.

Officers are investigating theft of a painting worth $150 from a gallery in Smith Memorial Student Union February 21. The theft occurred about 5 p.m. February 21.
