Swiped stuff

A purse and wallet left unattended on a table on the third floor of Millar library were taken at 4 p.m. Jan. 27. The loss was estimated at $130.

Drive-by jolt

While driving by Southwest 13th Avenue and Clay Street at 9 a.m. Jan. 30, the vehicle operator observed a man masturbating. Officers at the area were unable to locate the suspect. He was described as a white male in his 20s, 5-foot-7-inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with blonde hair.

Trailer park

An unidentified transient sleeping inside a fenced storage area at Parking Structure Three was awakened by officers soon after midnight Jan. 31.

They discovered him sleeping in a small, unlocked trailer. Questioning disclosed he had bedded down there off and on for three weeks. He was issued a verbal trespass from the campus.

Crossing the bar

A male sleeping inside the Blackstone Apartments was awakened at 2 a.m. Jan. 28 when he heard a disturbance outside his window. He then saw an arm reaching through the window.

The occupant grabbed at the arm but was unable to hold on. He then saw two suspects fleeing in the direction of Montgomery Hall. They had pulled the security bars away from the window in an attempt to gain entrance. The incident was seen as an attempted burglary.
