Busted boards
Someone tried to burglarize a locked office in East Hall at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 30 by attempting to break down the door.
Wood and paint chips were found on the floor, but nothing was missing and there was no sign of vandalism in the office. The damage to the property was estimated at $50.
Pilfered property
A student reported that a textbook worth $55 disappeared somewhere on campus the morning of Feb. 3. He noticed it was missing about 8:45 a.m.
A briefcase and CDs were taken when a thief broke into a locker on the second floor of Neuberger Hall at about 2 p.m. Feb. 4. The loss was $405.
A PSU parking permit was stolen from a 1996 Lexus parked in Parking Structure 1 soon after noon Feb. 5. There was no sign of forced entry. The lost property was valued at $71.
Restraint ordered
A copy of a victim’s restraining order against another person was received by CPSO Feb. 6. The incident that the order concerned occurred the night of Jan. 6.
Crash course
The left front door and fender were damaged on a 1996 Kia parked on the first floor of Parking Structure 1.
The incident occurred about 4 p.m. Feb. 6. It was classified as criminal mischief by CPSO. There was no dollar value estimate of the damage.
