March 11

Hit and Run

At approximately 7:49 p.m., a vehicle hit a student crossing SW 6th Ave and SW Harrison St, causing minor injuries. The victim declined medical assistance.

Disorderly Conduct

CPSO responded to a 6:10 p.m. report from the Portland Fire Station that someone was hanging out of the 11th story window of University Pointe apartments using a bull horn and siren to cause distress to the pedestrians and drivers below. CPSO was unable to make contact.

March 13

Disorderly Conduct

CPSO responded to a report at approximately 9:22 a.m. at Smith Memorial Student Union of a verbal altercation at the help desk between a student employee and a non-student.

March 14

Assistance rendered/stalking

A student reported a stalking issue around approximately 5:18 p.m. A report was also filed with the Portland Police Bureau.

Shoplift/Warrant Arrest

At approximately 9:50 a.m., CPSO took a theft report stating someone had taken coffee without paying at the Urban Center Starbucks. The suspect was located at 1:03 p.m. in SMSU and was found to have an outstanding warrant after being arrested for theft.

March 15

Fire

At approximately 11:49 a.m., the Portland Fire Department responded to dumpster fire at University Pointe apartments. No staff or residents were harmed. The dumpster was removed from the building and put out with water. An arson investigator was on scene, but the case remains open and pending.
