Portland State University’s Dance in Film II course is hosting an afternoon of dance films. Come enjoy digital film excerpts our course chose to share with you. An afternoon offers a collection of excerpts from Bill T. Jones to Gene Kelly and more!

Dance in Film II is a course offered at PSU where students are able to learn about dance and how it relates to film. Students get the chance to study dance on film through the eras. Furthermore, the course provides an in-depth look at film and dance techniques used together to create dance on film.

12 Variations showcases an array of diverse, evocative dance digital film segments at 5th Ave. Cinema, Sunday, June 7th. Theater doors open at 2:30pm. Program start at 3pm and last for approximately 2 hours. Come join us for this free event.
