What might America learn
about sustainability from Japan?

The CJS and SEH America, Inc. bring one of Japan’s top experts on sustainability, Dr. Hiroshi Komiyama President Emeritus, University of Tokyo
and Chairman of the Institute of Mitsubishi Research Institute, to explore that question. Japan is not endowed with natural resources, and damage from environmental pollution is easily incurred. The dual phenomena of low birthrate and aging population are also rapidly growing more serious as is the overcrowding of the cities and the depopulation of the countryside. Dr. Komiyama explores answers to the problems Japan faces now, and other nations will face in the near future.
