Portland State University piano professor, Susan Chan, and visiting pianist Elise Yun, professor in the School the School of Music, Soochow University, China will perform a piano lecture-recital featuring works by internationally renowned contemporary
Chinese composers. This Valentine’s Day program will offer a musical “dim sum” from the hearts of the Chinese — an amalgamation of Chinese and western musical elements, including works inspired by indigenous Chinese folk tales and tunes, opera, and impressionism.
Admission is free and open to the public.
