Portland, Oregon- Late Night Library is excited to continue its Fall season with a 2 from Out of Town reading and performance event on the night of October 24th at Literary Arts, 925 SW Washington St. The event is free to the public and begins at 7p.m..
Featured writers and performers: Poet, Marcus Jakson (Neighborhood Register, CavanKerry Press), novelist, Scott Hutchins (A Working Theory of Love, Penguin Press) and local comedian, Barbara Holm. Musical guest T.B.A.
Late Night Library’s muti-genre events seek to build community among artists and arts enthusiasts, entertain the public, and foster dialogue around book culture.
Each event features a raffle in which participating attendees have the opportunity to win prizes donated by local sponsors.
Late Night Library is a bi-coastal volunteer-run literary arts organization. Our programming includes book columns, literary podcasts & webisodes, multi-genre events in Portland and Brooklyn, a national campaign to support independent bookstores and publishers, annual prizes for unpublished writers and debut authors, and more.
