Come bring your lunch and join the Portland Pre-Health Society as we host the first part of our 3-part lecture series on acupuncture, Chinese medicine and its relationship to western medicine.
Part I of our lecture series will cover the following topics:
-Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory
-Theories how acupuncture functions according to biomedical research
-Efficacy of acupuncture and what it has been proven to treat
We will be hosting Chinese medicine practitioner, Jessica Kolahi, LAc, who will be presenting information on various topics pertaining to Chinese Medicine and its relation to western medicine.
All students are welcome and light refreshments will be provided.
