Filipino student group to host music showcase

The third annual Da Kaibigan showcase, featuring local and regional musical talents, will be held Tuesday at Portland State.

Kaibigan, PSU’s Filipino-American student group, will be hosting the event in the third-floor ballroom of Smith Memorial Student Union.

The event will feature Filipino musical artists Gabe Bondoc and Passion, among a host of local musicians. A dinner of traditional Filipino cuisine will also be served before the performances.

Tickets cost $6 in advance for students, or $12 at the door. General admission is $8.

Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. The performances begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the PSU Box Office. For more information, contact Kaibigan at [email protected].
