Hiedi Hatcher was named to the All-Big Sky team last week, earning an honorable mention. It marks the third consecutive year that the 6’1″ forward has received this award.
Hatcher led Portland State with 10.0 points per game this season and was among the team leaders, averaging 5.7 rebounds a game to go with 55 assists and 40 steals on the season.
Hatcher ranked 16th in the Big Sky in scoring and 15th in rebounding this season. In just Big Sky games she was 15th in scoring, 11th in rebounding and ninth in field-goal percentage.
Hatcher recorded one double-double this season, with 16 points and a season-high 13 rebounds.
Hatcher will leave Portland State with her name etched in the record books. She is the 5th-leading rebounder (612) and 11th-leading scorer (988) in school history. She is also tied for seventh in games started (82), tenth in field-goal attempts (972) and eight in double-figure scoring games (55).
Hatcher has also been recognized for her efforts off the court. She has received three academic all-conference awards and should receive her fourth later this year. Hatcher, a psychology major with a minor in women’s studies, will graduate from Portland State later this year.
