Just a taste: Portland State enters tonight’s game against the Bengals in a second-place tie with Montana in the Big Sky Conference.

Earlier this season the Vikings easily defeated Idaho State at the Stott Center, 85-58. A win would keep the Vikings in the chase to overthrow Weber State, who is first in the conference with a looming matchup against the same Wildcats on Saturday.

It is doubtful that junior center Jamie Jones will play due to a sore ankle, and Idaho State’s leading scorer, Amorrow Morgan (13.9 points per game), may not play due to personal reasons.
