Bomb destroys two classrooms at Yale
Wednesday afternoon at 4:40 p.m. a bomb ripped through the Yale University law building. No injuries were reported although the bomb damaged two classrooms in the building.

Authorities are unclear as to who may have planted the bomb, but all agree that the attack does “not indicate or bear the marks of an international terrorist incident.”

Open forum on proposed cuts
PSU’s Budget and Priorities Committee will hold an all-university hearing today for campus community members to raise concerns or questions about the current budgeting process and the proposed cuts. The committee asks that comments be prepared ahead of time.

The event will be held from 2-5 p.m. in SMSU 294.

Talk Radio examination

A panel discussion will examine the role of broadcast media today from 12:05-1 p.m. today, SMSU 236.

The event, sponsored by the PSU Middle East Studies Center, United Church of Christ Justice, Peace Action Network and the Coalition Against Hate Radio, will feature invited guests from local broadcast media, government and the community.

Parking permit renewal online
Thanks to a recently developed system, PSU students can now renew their parking permits online.

To access the system, log onto www.pdx.edu, enter the PSU Information System, log in with your student identification number and PIN, click on “Employee” and then “Benefits and Deductions,” and then click on PSU Parking.

For those without Internet access, permits can still be acquired at Neuberger Hall.
