Outstanding teacher awards announced
Portland State’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences hasannounced the winners of the seventh annual John Elliot AllenOutstanding Teacher Awards. Over 300 students helped determine therecipients of the awards. Each winning teacher received an engravedplaque, $500, and a permanent photo on display in the dean’soffice.
Teachers who win the awards are ineligible to win again for twoyears, but despite this six professors won for a second time thisyear and Veronica Dujon, a sociology professor became the first towin for a third time.
