Partners in Health hosts photo exhibit at PSU

Partners in Health, a Boston-based organization that brings medical care to suffering communities around the world, is currently hosting its traveling photo exhibit in Portland State’s Littman Gallery.

Partners in Health has worked in various places, including Boston, Mass., Haiti, Peru and Rwanda.

The exhibit, “On the Same Map: A Photo Exhibition Celebrating Partners in Health’s 20 Years of Health and Social Justice,” features clinics and communities in which the organization has worked with local health workers to fight AIDS, tuberculosis, hunger and poverty.

The exhibit will be on display in the Littman Gallery until Saturday, Dec. 4. Entrance to the gallery is free to the public and is open Monday through Friday, noon to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is located in 250 Smith Memorial Student Union.
