Portland State’s Community Garden members will host their final harvest party of the season at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. There, the members will finish laying down the plots for the winter.

“We’ve already done quite a bit at our work parties so far this term,” said Morgan Weber, Community Garden coordinator.

At 4 p.m., attendees will convene at the Montgomery Lounge for warm refreshments such as hot chocolate and cider.

“This is also an excellent chance for anyone who would like to be involved in the garden next year to meet current gardeners, find out about the requirements of the garden and get on our mailing list,” Weber said.

Organizers ask that all attendees provide their own gloves and tools, as group supplies are limited.

The garden, which has been a campus fixture since the 1970s, is entirely organic and a wildlife habitat.
