This year’s Willamette Light Brigade brought over 100 hundred artists from the North West together for a family-friendly 3-day event spanning the five quadrants of Portland. The event ushers in the coming spring which is less than 90 days away. The theme guiding this years Festival is “The Light of Progress.” The festival’s intent to revitalize and, as mentioned via the Winter Light’s Festival website, to counteract the city’s tendency to languish during the long and cold winter season, brings the city of Portland together for fun and community building.
