PSU crime blotter

A wallet was taken from an unlocked dorm room in university housing while the room was unattended. The incident occurred about 5 p.m. March 28. The loss was $51.

A subject was discovered looking inside a parked car at a university housing facility at 2 a.m. April 1. The subject was temporarily detained, given a criminal trespass warning and released. The incident was handled as an internal matter.

A resident of university housing complained of being hit on the head by a plant at about 5:20 p.m. April 1. The matter was referred to internal disposition.

A subject reported a book was burned in a microwave oven in a university housing unit at about 9:30 p.m. April 5. An investigation continues.

Nabbed

Roseanne Croning, 35, was detained on campus soon after midnight March 31 after she was found to have an outstanding warrant for probation violation. She was lodged at the Multnomah County Detention center.

Vehicle violations

A vehicle parked in Parking 3 was found damaged at about 9 a.m. March 31. There was no estimate of loss.

Miscellaneous misdeeds

A door handle was found forced in Smith Memorial Student Union some time April 5. The intruder did not gain entrance to the room and there was no loss of property.

A $1,000 laptop was taken from an office in the Education-Business Administration building some time on March 19. How access was gained was unknown.
