Property purloined

Another in a series of Pepsi vending machine break-ins was discovered January 31 at 9 p.m. The machine was located in the education-business administration building. The loss of money was unknown.

Another Pepsi machine was broken into February 2. The break-in was discovered in the University Services building at 5 p.m. Again, there was no estimate of money taken.

University Center building was the scene of another Pepsi machine break-in at about midnight February 8. The loss totaled $29.25.

At 7:30 p.m. February 2 it was noticed that some items had been stolen from the Food for Thought Caf퀌�. The complainant expelled suspected subjects from the caf퀌�. There was no estimate of loss.

Aramark employees caught a student stealing food from the food court at 11 a.m. February 3. The student was verbally expelled from Aramark food services.

A video projector worth $1,750 was stolen from an unattended storage room in University Center Building some time on January 23.

Thieves broke into a vehicle parked in a university housing area at about 1 a.m. January 30 and personal property worth $520 was stolen.

A loss of $312 was reported by the owner of a wallet stolen in the PSU bookstore about 1:15 p.m. February 5.

Officers assisted with the handling of a shoplifter at the PSU Bookstore at 2:15 p.m. February 5. The property involved was valued at $13.50.

Items worth $460 were taken from a vehicle parked on campus about 6 p.m. February 9. The vehicle had been broken into.

A window was broken on a vehicle parked in Parking 3 about 11:30 p.m. February 9 but apparently nothing was missing.

Officers are investigating the removal of property worth $1,949 taken without permission from the education-business administration building about 2 p.m. February 10.

Shelter shenanigans

The odor of marijuana was reported wafting from a room in university housing at 9:30 p.m. February 4.

A computer was discovered in bushes near a university housing facility at 6:30 p.m. February 4. Officers were unable to locate the owner.

On February 4 a resident of university housing was reported shooting a bb gun in a hall at 8 p.m. The matter was handled internally.

A vehicle parked near a university housing facility was damaged by an unknown object about 1:45 p.m. February 5. There was no estimate of loss.

Wall damage and missing fire extinguishers were reported at 9 a.m. February 6 in a university housing building.

A report of two people fighting near a university housing facility brought officers to the scene at 4:30 p.m. February 8. The female involved was asked not to return to the university. The male was not located.

Also near a university housing facility suspicious activity was reported about 8:45 p.m. February 9. The incident was referred for internal handling.

Miscellaneous mishaps

A subject was discovered lying inside Peter Stott Center at 10:30 p.m. February 2. This resulted in a criminal trespass warning.

A complainant received suspicious e-mail at 11:30 a.m. February 4 in Millar Library. The incident is being investigated.

A subject’s vehicle was scratched by another vehicle while parked in Parking 1 at about 2 p.m. February 3.

Staff members of Millar Library told officers they felt physically threatened and frightened by a suspicious person at 1:30 p.m. February 6. The suspect left the library following the incident.
