PSU “Food Week” Preview

From Oct. 21-25, Portland State’s Food Action Collective will be putting on Food Week to raise awareness about healthy and sustainable food, show the diverse ways that we can engage with our food system, and to celebrate National Food Day on Oct. 24. FAC is a group of student activists focused on advocating for local, affordable and healthy food.

“Food Week is really a great way for students to come together and get involved,” FAC co-chair Kelsey Hoffman said.

Kicking off the week will be the Food Week Carnival, including games, activities and food.
