PSU hosts state science expo

Hundreds of middle and high school students flocked to Portland State on Friday for the 2011 Intel Northwest Science Expo, which recognizes students for their scientific accomplishments.

According to a press release, judges looked at 525 projects from over 70 schools and organizations. The projects were divided into divisions, and two winners were chosen from each category.
