Strike out leukemia and lymphoma

Head softball coach Teri Mariani has made a charity game a priority for her team once a year.

All Portland State fans are encouraged to join the efforts of the Viking softball team this Thursday to raise money for leukemia and lymphoma research. Ticket prices for this Thursday’s doubleheader will be lowered by $1, and a table will be set up by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to take donations for this cause. Pledge cards will be available for fans who wish to contribute.

The Vikings will host the Oregon State Beavers in a double-header at Erv Lind Stadium, located on the corner of Northeast 57th and Halsey. Game times are at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
