On July 6th, the Portland Thorns played against the Boston Breakers at Jeld-Wen Field. Though the game ultimately ended in a 2-0 loss for them, the Thorns pressed on fiercely for the entire game, considerably strengthened their defense in the second half and were graceful even in defeat.
