At a glance: As successful as the Vikings’ season has been thus far, a victory over conference powerhouse Montana would likely elevate the young Vikings’ spirits before next week’s conference tournament. Montana has won its last five games, and has dominated this series of late, taking the last nine from Portland State. In their earlier matchup this season, Portland State rallied from 11 points down with less than five minutes remaining to force overtime, before eventually falling 77-73. The Vikings can even the season series by defeating the Grizzlies, whose five losses this season have all come on the road.
