Just a taste: At 9-1, the Vikings bring the Big Sky’s best record into Thursday’s home contest against the visiting Bengals.

Veteran team leaders Kelsey Kahle and Claire Faucher will look to extend the Vikings’ win streak over the Bengals to four straight while pursuing a 10-1 conference record. The Portland State squad will also rely on the stellar offense of Kelli Valentine, who will be going after her 11th straight game of scoring in double figures.

The Bengals enter the matchup in third place in the Big Sky Conference, but have dropped five of their last seven games. They are led by senior Michelle Grohs, who scores a team-high 13.8 points per game and grabs an average of 7.9 rebounds per contest.
