We were down 14 points with just seconds left on the clock in our Dec. 3 men’s basketball game against the Portland Pilots. Bryce White, fighting to the last breath, offers what would seem a congratulatory handshake to Alex Wintering, in possession of the ball. Drunk on victory, Wintering lowers his guard. White strikes, stealing the ball from his enemy’s clutches, and rushes it to the net, dunking in glory. Be it known that for the Portland State Vikings, the battle is over only when we can play no more!
