Everybody Reads starts fifth year

Coordinated by the Multnomah County Library, the Everybody Reads program started Thursday with scholar-led book discussions by two Portland State professors. The event will have 14 book-discussions over the course of the next month, the majority of which will be led by Portland State professors.

Coordinated by the Multnomah County Library, the Everybody Reads program started Thursday with scholar-led book discussions by two Portland State professors.

The event will have 14 book-discussions over the course of the next month, the majority of which will be led by Portland State professors. All book discussions are open and free to the general public and will last between 60 to 90 minutes.

The event is sponsored by the Library Foundation and is meant to encourage people to read and connect over one book. This year’s book is Midnight at the Dragon Caf퀌� by Judy Fong Bates.
