Holiday drinks

*Hot Apple Pie: Heat up some apple juice, or apple cider, and add 1 1/4 ounces of Tuaca and 3/4 of an ounce of vodka. Garnish with nutmeg and a cinnamon stick and someone’s going to think you’re Tom Cruise.

*Hot Toddy: Add 1 1/2 oz. of Irish Whiskey to about 3 oz. of hot water add a sugar cube and a lemon twist.

*Hot Chocolate Favorites: Simply add about 1 1/2 oz. of these to your favorite hot chocolate for a cozy, cozy tummy rub: Chambord, Tuaca, Bailey’s or the classic peppermint schnapps.

*Hot buttered rum: First mix your hot buttered rum batter with hot water. (I suggest just finding a batter you like at the liquor store, unless of course you’re inclined to make your own.) Add 1 1/2 oz. of rum, I suggest Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum for a lovely, little zip and change of pace to the same old buttered rum. Most delicious.

Hint: Pre-heat your glassware to keep your lovely beverage hot. Yummy.
