Illuminating interpersonal violence and consent on campus

Illuminate PSU is Portland State’s relationship and sexual violence prevention program. The group, a resource for interpersonal violence on campus, works with different student communities at PSU including incoming freshmen, student housing residents and student-athletes. Additionally, they provide bystander and consent training. They also have the ability to offer personalized training for different groups as needed.

Public and peer education is a key component to Illuminate’s mission, and they sponsor different panel discussions and plan events like Denim Day, scheduled for April 24 during Portland State’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Illuminate offers many volunteer and internship opportunities for Portland State students, and offers annual training. For more information visit their website or facebook page.
