Stars: Portland State junior point guard Jeremiah Dominguez is fresh off his first Big Sky Player of the Week selection, after scoring 45 second half points in two games last weekend, and should look for an encore performance against the Lumberjacks. Senior forward Kyle Landry, averaging 20.2 points through nine Big Sky games, had 24 points and 12 rebounds in the Lumberjacks loss to Northern Colorado last Thursday.

Just a taste: Fans should keep in mind the winner of this game will remain in, or reclaim possession of, first place in the Big Sky. The Vikings, who throttled Northern Arizona, 80-66 Jan. 5 in Portland, are riding a four-game winning streak, three of which came at home. Portland State’s matchup will be the Lumberjacks’ first home contest since Jan. 12. While the Lumberjacks sit at 6-3 in Big Sky play, 11 seconds and three points is all that separates Northern Arizona from an 8-1 record after dropping two games in the final moments last week.
