Eastern Washington head coach Kirk Earlywine called the Vikings, “A freight train going at full speed,” after Portland State’s domination in Montana this past weekend. The Eagles are the only team in the Big Sky, other than Weber State, to defeat the Vikings this season. Portland State will be looking for revenge in the regular season finale after losing in Cheney, Wash, on Dec. 22, 58-57. The Vikings will also be going for their 12th straight Big Sky victory.

Stars: Vikings’ point guard Jeremiah Dominguez is coming off a weekend performance that saw the junior score 50 points on 17-23 shooting in two Portland State road wins over Montana State and Montana. Junior guard Adris DeLeon has been the hot hand off the bench for the Eagles, scoring 27 in a loss to Northern Colorado on Feb. 23.
