Recent resignations have left several vacancies on the ASPSU student senate. Anyone interested in taking a seat with the senate should fill out an application and turn it in to the ASPSU office, Room 117 of Smith Memorial Student Union.

Anyone interested in filling an appointed seat on the senate or in other student government committee positions should write a letter of intent to ASPSU President Amara Marino and Vice President Joe Johnson. Letters can be left in their boxes in the ASPSU office or e-mailed to them. E-mail addresses can be found online at

In other student government news, ASPSU hired former intern Aaleya Spence as the multicultural affairs director, following the resignation of Manisha Ganesh earlier this summer. Erin Devaney, also a former ASPSU intern, filled the state affairs diretor position, formerly held by Miriam Gonzales.
