Portland State receives sustainability award

Portland State was among 14 recipients of the Portland Office of Sustainable Development’s BEST Awards for commitment to sustainability yesterday.

The Portland State Office of Transportation and Parking transportation alternatives program and the Stephen Epler Hall and Broadway Housing Buildings were awarded the Building for an Environmentally Sustainable Tomorrow (BEST) awards for promoting environmentally friendly business practices in Portland.

City Commissioners Erik Sten and Dan Saltzman were both present at the awards breakfast.
