Jesse Shapiro
1. I am a junior majoring in history with a minor in black studies and plan on going in to teaching, probably at the high school level.
2. As the multicultural affairs director on the ASPSU executive staff, I have gained valuable experience as a student organizer and a passion for increasing access to higher education, particularly for under represented groups such as students of color. I will work to ensure that the needs and concerns of students of color here at PSU are addressed.
3. I am a firm believer that students must be a part of the decision making process and think it is the responsibility of our student Senators to give force and legitimacy to the student voice.
