1. This is my freshman year at Portland State University, but I already have sophomore standing from my hard work during high school. I am a political science major and I hope to continue my education so that I can better serve the community later in life.
2. I promise to bring responsibility to the Student Senate. I will attend every Senate meeting and spend as much time as necessary working with students to address their needs. I will work to make sure that the interests of students are being represented to the best of my abilities.
3. Most importantly, I see this as an opportunity for me to make a difference at this school by working to promote the interests of students.
