SFC to discuss allocation process at 4 p.m. today

Portland State’s Student Fee Committee will be hosting an open forum with student group members and leaders today at 4 p.m. in Parkway North, room 101, of Smith Memorial Student Union.

Portland State’s Student Fee Committee will be hosting an open forum with student group members and leaders today at 4 p.m. in Parkway North, room 101, of Smith Memorial Student Union.

Representatives from the Student Fee Committee (SFC) will be speaking to students about the committee’s allocation process, as well as listening to any student comments and concerns at the forum. In addition to SFC members, representatives from Campus Recreation, the Offices of the Dean of Students, the Budget Office and Student Activities and Leadership Programs will be present to answer questions and offer insight.

This year, the SFC will be responsible for the allocation of more than $12 million in student fees to student groups, including athletics and The Vanguard. Student Activities and Leadership Programs is in charge of advising most student activities on campus.
