Slamming in the rain

Light rain did nothing to stop the second annual Verbal GraffitiPoetry Slam presented by the Literary Arts Council and the Vanguardand hosted by Portland slam poet Turiya Autry. Student NathanLangston (pictured) came away with first prize and $350. Secondprize ($250) went to Aaleeya Spence and third ($150) went to John”Riggs” Fulmer, last year’s first place winner.
