‘A Night of Wine & Roses’
A Night of Wine & Roses,” a benefit for Portland State University Athletics Scholarships, will take place on May 31 at the Governor Hotel. The first-of-its-kind event begins at 6:30 p.m.

Some 200 wines from over 40 different wineries from around the world will be available for tasting. There will also be food, music and dancing to the Viking Spirit Band – PSU’s 18-piece big band – and a silent auction.

Cost for “A Night of Wine & Roses” is $125 per person. Corporate packages are available for $1,250. The event is black tie optional. All proceeds go to benefit Portland State Athletics Scholarships.

PSU salutes Viking athletics
The Viking Backers will hold the annual Portland State University Salutes Viking Athletes on June 6. The event takes place at the Northwest Natural Building at 220 N.W. Second Ave. at 5:30 p.m.

PSU Salutes honors Portland State teams and athletes for the 2001-02 academic year. Seniors are introduced and PSU Athletes of the Year will be awarded.
