The Thai New Year, also known as the Songkarn Festival, is a three day celebration that takes place in Thailand every April. In commemoration of the New Year, the Portland State Thai Student Organization presented the Thai New Year Extravaganza featuring performances, music by special guests, a fashion show, prizes, and of course food in order to portray the story behind the significance of this occurrence. This is the fourth annual event hosted by the Organization.
